Update on KAS Deposit Services and Technical Progress
Dear MEXCers,
Following Kaspa’s recent mainnet upgrade—which significantly increased block generation speed—on-chain data volume and transaction frequency have grown sharply. This has placed new technical demands on node synchronization and data processing.
Technical Adjustments in Response to Network Changes
As one of the earliest exchanges to support KAS, MEXC handles a high volume of deposit and withdrawal activity. In anticipation of this upgrade, our technical team conducted thorough system compatibility testing. However, the post-upgrade environment evolved faster than projected, with actual traffic volumes far exceeding all initial expectations and surpassing original infrastructure thresholds.
To ensure service stability, our team immediately initiated backend architectural adjustments. In close collaboration with the Kaspa development team, we identified node compatibility challenges, after which the project team provided a newly developed middleware component tailored to the upgraded network.
As this middleware is being implemented for the first time, our team has undertaken full-scale integration, rigorous testing, and strict security validation to ensure seamless compatibility with our production environment.
Commitment to Security, Reliability, and Timely Resumption
Given the high level of KAS trading activity on MEXC, we are taking a deliberate and thorough approach to ensure the security and reliability of our services. We recognize the importance of uninterrupted access to deposit services, especially for our most engaged users. That’s why we are taking a measured and forward-looking approach to ensure the robustness and security of our systems for the long term. The optimization process is now in its final testing phase, and we are working around the clock to resume KAS deposit services as soon as possible—without compromising on quality or safety.
We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued trust in MEXC.
Sincerely,
MEXC Team
