According to CoinDesk, crypto bank Augustus has raised $180 million at a valuation of $1 billion. SlowMist has noted that phishing websites often gain traffic through compromised official accounts, expired invitation links, and paid advertisements, while CertiK has identified QR-code phishing as a key attack method requiring attention in 2026. Before interacting with an airdrop or new project, users should manually verify the domain and contract address, reject signatures they do not fully understand, limit token-approval amounts, regularly revoke unused permissions, and use a separate wallet containing only a small amount of assets for higher-risk interactions.
