Hundreds of Confederate flag-bearing men marched into Washington, D.C. on July 4th, according to multiple reports.

In a post on X, journalist Mitchell Miller, a reporter for WTOP News, shared a video of what he described as "a group of masked men gathered at Union Station" with Confederate flags and calls for "reclaiming the country and getting rid of immigrants."

Miller added, "They have been marching across Capitol Hill."

He wasn't the only one who captured the spectacle. PatriotTakes, which follows right-wing extremism, estimated in a post on X, "around 400 white nationalists Patriot Front members are marching in D.C. today with Confederate flags, etc."

PatriotTakes reported that "a streamer with the group described it as a 'total Aryan victory.'"

Spencer Allan Brooks, a local D.C. reporter, also posted video of the masked men.

"White supremacist group Patriot Front is marching around Washington, DC this morning," he wrote. "They were seen at Union Station and in Capitol Hill neighborhoods."

Videos showed that some of the flags were also upside-down American flags. Reuters noted in photo captions that Patriot Front members were also seen in nearby New Carrollton, Maryland.
