AGUSAN DEL SUR, Philippines – Nearly 1,500 medals are up for grabs across 24 regular sports in the 66th Palarong Pambansa in Agusan del Sur.

Looking to clinch those medals are the best elementary and high school student-athletes from the country’s 18 regions, the National Academy of Sports, and Philippine Schools Overseas.

National Capital Region aims to secure its 19th straight overall championship after dominating the Palaro’s 65th edition in Ilocos Norte with 117 golds, 70 silvers, and 50 bronzes.

Calabarzon and Western Visayas had finished second and third overall, respectively, in 2025.
